Buying comics in California
How selling comics to us works in California
Short version: Samurai Comix is a comic book buyer based in Fresno, California that travels throughout California to buy comic book collections, key issues, graded comics and single issues in person, and pays cash on the spot. Text COMICS to (559) 326-8337 with photos to get an offer.
California has more comic book collections than any other state, and more buyers who only want the cream: the slabbed keys, the Silver Age number ones, the first appearances. We are the buyer for the whole collection. We price every key against recent sales, pay by the box for the bulk, and buy all of it in one visit.
Most of our sellers are not collectors. They inherited a collection, they are settling an estate, they are moving and the boxes will not fit, or they are done paying for a storage unit. We walk you through what you have, show you how the number was built, pay you on the spot, and carry everything out.
Collectors and shops sell to us too, because we buy in volume and pay in one payment. If you have an offer from a shop, an auction house or a mail-in buyer, send it over; we will beat it or tell you it is fair.
